Virgin's new Limited Edition boutique hotels offer unspoiled and pampered stays
Richard Branson has put the Virgin brand on everything from an airline to cola to vodka. And now he's gone one step further: he wants the name's cashet associated with the very best in upscale boutique resorts. "There aren't very many places in the world that are completely unspoiled, completely untouched - virgin territory, if you will", he says. That's why the chairman and CEO of Virgin Group has handpicked a group of eclectic small hotel and resorts that he introduced in January 2000. Branson's goal, he says, was to "find little jewels".
Five boutique hotels and resorts have been selected for their style, location, personal service and food. The five properties include:
