Residence Manassei, is a palace dated 1200, which has been completely and tastefully restored. The Residence is perfectly located in a quaint pedestrian area in the heart of the historical center of Prato, at two steps from the Duomo and in the middle of shops, food, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, etc. something that only a city centre can offer.

The palazzo was the residence of the aristocratic Manassei family from as far back as 1267 and it still succeeds in conveying its historic importance through finely preserved fourteenth-century frescoes. Waiting to welcome visitors are 11 mini apartments complete with bathroom, hairdryer, kitchen corner, colour TV, telephone, Internet connection, central heating, lift, car park and a delightful terrace commanding a suggestive view over the rooftops of the old city centre of Prato.  Weekly cleanings are guaranteed by qualified staff who are also on hand to respond to all requests of a tourist nature.

The rooms are located on three floors, all reachable by lift. On the upper floor you find a big terrace where can have a drink or relax enjoying an enchanting view of Prato with its old characteristic roofs.

Residence Manassei is a perfect economical alternative to Florence, for clients who drive. The prices are less expensive then Florence hotels and you will get more space for your money. Florence is twenty minutes trip by train. Moreover it is reachable by car. The Residence Manassei provide their guests a permit which allow them to get in the pedestrian area and park right in the closed streets, without any fee. It is also easily reachable by train, as the train station is located at 5 minutes walking.
