A FAMILY DAY IN VERSAILLES AND BALOON FLIGHT

This tour consists of private tour of Versailles. After Versailles, clients are driven to the castle of Esclimont, for baloon flight. The balloon flights are scheduled in order to avoiding strong sun during the day and are therefore scheduled at the end of afternoon or very early morning.

There are few options according to the budget and children.

Re: timing. Usually the guided tour inside in the Versailles is about 1.5 hrs, we do not recommend more for children unless parents insists. The 1 hour horse carriage ride to seethe Trianons. After that, possible bike riding. Bikes can be rented for the day at the at Versailles directly, few Euros, paid on site. The guide will help with this. It is possible to go to the trianons by bike if the clients chooses a smaller ride with the carriage ride. 

With this in mind, we propose.

Half day private tour of the castle of Versailles
Transfer to Esclimont  for balloon flight
Back to Paris after the flight
Pick up at hotel by 1PM ( after lunch) to be in Versailles by 1:40PM.
We will require a private tour authorization by 2PM for example at Versailes need to be booked in advance.

Licensed guide and transport by a/c minivan.
Tour will end by maximum 3:30PM. (tour will be children friendly, instructive and fun )
Carriage Horse riding tour for half hour , finished by 4PM.
Optional :  could rent a bike for one hour to one hour & half ( price is 5 euros /per bicycle / hour to be paid locally)

On certain days there is a fountain shows playing from 3:30PM to 4:30PM. During horse carriage ride, the clients  will be able to view all the fountains playing .
5:30PM leave Versailles and transfer to the castle of Esclimont to meet the pilot for a balloon flight scheduled after 6PM

Near Paris, between Chartres & Versailles. 
Balloon flights are depending on weather  conditions and reconfirmed by pilot 24 hours in advance.

This part of the package could be cancelled if the flight is cancelled for clients own security.
 

Balloon flight could be rescheduled the next day if possible with weather

Balloon flight service include for 3 hours:
- meeting with pilot and security information to passengers
- inflating of the balloon
- flight for one hour
- transfer back by 4X4 to the castle after the flight
- certificate of flight for each passenger
- champagne toast & soft drinks after the flight for the children

Cost of a balloon flight is 370 euros per adult and 300 euros per child for 3 Hour service .

After balloon flight, transfer to Paris 9PM or option to have dinner at the castle and then back to Paris is possible as well.
 

Dinner at the castle of Esclimont after balloon flight ( gastronomic dinner, drinks not included) : 3 adults @100 euros/ per person + 2 children menu @30 euros each.

If the clients decide to stay for dinner, then add 2 more hours for transport and driver + 200 Euros + dinner of the driver 20 Euros)

Please note while the part of the balloon flight is entirely refundable if the flight is cancelled, in case of inclement weather, it will be refunded, or we will reschedule the
service. However, the part of the restaurant-dinner at the chateau is not refundable, it has to be paid in advance also so the dinner can rescheduled it for the next day but the chateau will not refund any money.  The clients can go back to chateaux for dinner anyway even without balloon flight or  reschedule the balloon and restaurant for the next day.
 

Cost of half day Versailles with tickets entrance castle, fountain show, half hour horse carriage ride, guide, authorization and transport from 1PM to 5PM for 3 adults and 2 children - 1165 euros

Cost of full day Versailles, same but you will leave earlier from Paris at 9am and have more time in the park, 9am to 5pm, 1700 eur.

Lunch not included. There are plenty of small restaurants in the park of the castle, or very nice restaurant in the park as well at the Trianon palace hotel, or the clients can bring picnic baskets.

There is extra cost for driver guide / transport & balloon flight from 5 to 9:30PM. Transport & driver is for extra 5 hours (Esclimont to Paris is one hour drive back ) 690 euros
