TOUR STARTS 8th September 2005 in Glasgow , where coach will meet you at Glasgow airport. For those of you who may be in Glasgow already, we will meet you in the city centre. Our first few nights will be in Glasgow with day trips. Today we will give you a city tour and allow time to relax from your flights. Glasgow is our largest city and full of pubs, shops, museums and places to visit, something for everyone. A Welcome to Scotland Dinner at the hotel tonight.
9th September a whole day spent in Stirling, where we visit the Wallace Monument , The Castle and the Wallace Exhibition at Smiths Art Gallery . We will also visit the Spirit of Wallace lying in State. Plenty of free time here in Stirling to take the day at your own speed. many options available for lunch whilst in the city. 10th September we move south today. Sightseeing en route we will visit the Border to see where England starts! With a brief stop at Hadrianís Wall before we check into our hotel for dinner at Carlisle
11th September back into Scotland ! We travel up to Lanark, St Kentigernís in Lanark, is to be the last resting place for the "Spirit of Wallace". It is planned to have a huge event in the town, when many thousands can gather to pay homage to Scotland 's National Hero. The coffin will be carried through the town on the evening of the 11th, the anniversary of his great victory at Stirling Bridge, to its final resting place. We spend the whole day here in Lanark. Return to hotel early hours of the morning. Overnight in a country house hotel at Biggar, just a short drive away. Dinner included here.
12th September day trip which will feature William Wallace locations of interest including: Dryburgh, Melrose and Jedburgh . Full of Wallace history and facts. Overnight in a country house hotel at Biggar. Dinner included here.
13th September we move on to Edinburgh , with a visit to Rosslyn Chapel, a wonderful place full of myth and legend. Did the Knights Templar really bury treasure here? Is it true what was written in the Da Vinci Code? Your chance to find out. We end our day at Edinburgh and our city centre hotel. Dinner is at your leisure tonight - so much to choose from and such a variety, you may wish to dine on your own schedule, this allows you to do so.

15th September Aberdeen . Some featured visits today include Dunnottar Castle : The rock on which Dunnottar Castle stands makes it one of the most impregnable fortress in Scotland . Sheer cliffs 160ft high almost completely surround a flat area over three acres in size. Arbroath abbey: Perhaps the high point in the history of Arbroath Abbey was in April 1320. The Abbot at the time was Bernard de Linton, who drafted the "Letter of Arbroath", thought by many to be the most important document in Scottish history. The Letter is famous for one phrase in particular: "as long as a hundred of us remain alive, we shall not on any condition be be subjected to English rule." Perth and Elcho Castle : Elcho Castle 's origins are a little obscure, and it is possible that William Wallace sheltered in an earlier defensive structure on this site. Aberdeen overnight.
16th September A late start after breakfast. Our day ends with us returning to Glasgow for dinner.
17th September homeward today, we transfer to Glasgow airport.
