throughout the day, the tube tour consists of 5 tube journeys, 3 London walks
and visits inside 3 of London's most important historic sights:-
• Westminster Abbey burial place of British Monarchs since the 11 Century
and setting for many Royal Weddings and Coronations. Visit the American Chapel
commemorating the 28,000 Americans who died in operations based in Britain
during WWII.
• The Tower of London with 900 years of History the Tower has been a
Palace, Prison and setting for many executions, including two wives of Henry
VIII. Visit the Bloody Tower where the two Princes were murdered by their Uncle,
Richard III, and where Sir Walter Raleigh was imprisoned for 13 years.
• St Paul's Cathedral Christopher Wren's Masterpiece built after the
Great Fire of London 1666. Prince Charles and Diana's Wedding took place here in
1982 and Winston Churchill's Funeral in 1965. Visit the Cathedral's Whispering
Gallery, where you can whisper on one side of the Dome and hear it on the other.
This unique day out will give you a local experience of the vast city of London
travelling by public transport and by foot with an specialist walking tour

many Italian gardens; Leonardslee, a most spectacular garden comprising one of
the best collections of unusual trees, shrubs, rhododendrons,azaleas and
chamelias in the British Isles.

See any one in 5 hours or a selection, depending on opening times and location, in 9 hours.
Leeds Castle, a fairy-tale
castle built over 1000 years ago, surrounded by water with magnificent medieval
furnishings.
Hever, a 13th century moated castle, childhood home of Anne Boleyn and
setting for her courtship with Henry VIII.
Hidcote Manor Gardens, designed by the American Major Lawrence Johnston in
the style of English Cottage Gardens.
Sissinghurst Gardens,created by Vita Sackville-West around the old tower of
Sissinghurst Castle.
Stourhead, world famous 18th century gardens with lakes, temples and rare
trees forming a landscape of breath-taking beauty throughout the year (full day
only).
Chartwell, home of Sir Winston
Churchill for 42 years, now kept as a memorial to him. The house has vast views
of the Weald of Kent, a melodious waterfall, fish pool and walled rose gardens.
Wisley, showplace of the Royal Horticultural Society famous for its rock
gardens and alpine plants.
Longleat, a fine Elizabethan Treasure House, 16th century home of the

arrange for you to visit this awe-inspiring prehistoric monument and walk among
the giant sarsen stones towering 21 ft (6.4 m) high and weighing up to 50 tons.
Marvel at how stones of such monumental scale were quarried, transported and
erected 5,000 years ago when the only tools available were made of wood, bone
and stone.
