Elegant, spacious, comfortable, attractive double rooms with living room, original high-ceiling wood beams, ensuite bathroom with shower, hair dryer, and television. All rooms are air conditioned. Total four split level rooms, each spread over two levels, the spacious upper level with bed and bedside tables, and the lower level as a lounge area. Rooms were renovated in 2003.
All rooms are non-smoking room, and tourist information is available. Guests have their own keys and are free to come and go as they please.
Double room, renovated in September 2003, which is elegantly decorated with antique furniture. The room is 20mē in size and features a bed made by an artisan as seen in Fellini films, and paintings from the 18th century.
This B&B offers high level accommodations at reasonable price.
Antiqua Roma is located in the heart of downtown, in Trastevere, the most famous and characteristic area in Rome. By walking you can easily arrive in few minutes to Campo dei Fiori, Navona Square, Pantheon, Tiberina Island, S.Peter (15 mins), and to all the most important historical places of the city.
Transportation: Bus H - Termini
station, Campidoglio, Trevi Fountain, Bus 780 - Venezia Square, Roman Forum,
Colloseum, Bus 23 - St. Peter, Vatican Museum. St. Paul Bazilica.
Tram 8 - Argentina Square and direct connection to airport. 630 - Fountain Trevi,
Piazza di Spagna.
Prices start from 120 eur which is very reasonable for this quality of accommodation and space.
Note: this accommodation is suitable for independent travelers who do not require full services of hotel. There is no reception as in hotels, neither room service or restaurant. However, there is daily maid service. The guests are met on arrival (time of arrival has to be adviced so owners can welcome guests and give them keys).
Feedback from guests: Rabbi Perry T. from Florida: Antiqua Rome was the best. Clean, gave you a feel of living like a local, close to the Jewish community in a trendy neighborhood. you just have to send people directions b/c it isn't a hotel.
