It's the perfect antidote to the stress and strain of modern times. You will not
only have the most enjoyable vacation of your life, you could leave us with a
renewed sense of yourself. Some of the things you discover here could even stand
you in good stead for years to come.
Unless you spend a month with us, you may not have time to do and learn
everything LaSOURCE has to offer, but a big part of the fun is our full
complement of sports and instruction. Tennis, archery, fencing, scuba diving,
snorkeling, sailing, wind surfing, water skiing, beach volley ball, all forms of
aerobics and stretch classes and a well equipped gym await you.
Remember, too, that "all-inclusive" means just that. You can't be fully relaxed
if you have to fuss with money or pens to sign your name, so we have abolished
it. Unless you want to call home or buy gifts, you simply don't need money. Even
your drinks at the bar are included and tipping is strictly forbidden. Give us
your body for a week and we'll give you back your mind. We promise to work on
both at the same time.
While it is true that you could come to LaSOURCE and do absolutely nothing but
enjoy the beach (we've actually got two of them), we do recommend that you take
full advantage of the body and mind "treats" we have to offer.
We pamper you with restorative hair care, seaweed wraps, facials, and salt
loofah rubs all intended to make you look as beautiful as you will feel. To
relax you and clear you mind we work your body in other ways - with Swedish
massage, foot massage, Tai Chi, and yoga - the ancient oriental methods of
getting in touch with your own center.
We teach you how to meditate, which really means we teach you how to quiet you
mind and put in tune with your body.
It's like riding a bicycles: once you learn it, you will know if forever. All of
these things combine to teach you the art of stress management that you can use
long after you lose your tan. In fact, when you get to LaSOURCE, we provide you
with an individual program of body/mind activities that will literally let you
wake up a new person. Part of a great vacation has to be wonderful things to eat
and drink and LaSOURCE doesn't stint on either.
We have two bars - the terrace bar, overlooking the sea, which is open all day,
and the piano bar, popular with social night owls, that doesn't close until the
last guest retires. Both are stocked with local favorites and premium brands of
just about anything your heart desires (all included, of course).
Breakfast and lunch are served buffet style on the terrace. At your leisure you
can simply help yourself to the many delicious things we offer in great
variety and superb abundance. Late in the afternoon enjoy a relaxing cup of tea,
which will hold you in good stead until dinner - an affair of fine calibre. You
will not find more delicious food anywhere in the Caribbean, served with grace
and charm and good wine. One night a week we have a barbecue on the terrace that
rivals anything in Texas! After dinner there is live entertainment and
congregating at the terrace bar or piano bar before you are ready to retire to
your room or suite.
We can promise it will feel good to be "home". There's Italian marble floors,
and carved four-poster king sized beds, a huge marble bathroom, hair dryer, air
conditioning, ceiling fans, and always the soothing song of the sea. Every
room has a private terrace or balcony with the sea view.
And if you wonder what the bride and groom are doing here, that can be part of
the vacation, too. We will get you properly married and throw you a champagne
reception - all included. Or join us after the happy day; we can't think of a
nicer place to spend a honeymoon.
LaSOURCE is a stunning 40-acre oasis of white sand and crystal sea on the long
stretch of Pink Gin Beach. Whether you look at what was created by man or by
nature, you see beauty everywhere. A few minutes walk over our hill and you have
a pretty little secluded beach between the cliffs, especially for those who wish
to sunbathe "au naturel".
We're also near the picturesque colonial town of St George's and just minutes
from Pointe Saline Airport, which spares you a long ride on arrival and
departure.
Grenada itself is one of the few surprises left in the Caribbean. Friendly and
unspoiled, you can still hear the chatter of monkeys in the giant bamboo of our
mountain rain forest, and some of our most perfect gardens are underwater.
