The Acapulco Princess is situated on 480 acres along Revolcadero Beach with the Pacific Ocean on one side and majestic Sierra Madre mountains on the other. It is 5 miles (10 minutes) to the International Airport, 20 minutes to downtown Acapulco and adjacent to its elegant sister property, the Pierre Marques.
Accommodations
1019 Rooms. The main building of the hotel is in the shape of an Aztec Pyramid whose atrium soars 16 stories to a spectacular peak. The Pyramid houses 424 rooms, 20 junior suites and 7 penthouses. To the left, connected by covered walkway is the 10-story Princesa tower with an additional 216 rooms, 36 one-bedroomed suites, and the hotel’s convention facilities. To the right of the Pyramid, connected by the long shopping arcade, is the 10-story Marquesa tower with an additional 276 rooms, 36 junior executive suites, 4 penthouse suites and the Marquesa ballroom.
All rooms are of generous size with
floor-to-ceiling-glass sliding doors, private terrace, bathroom with shower, tub
and bathroom scale, separate dressing area with vanity unit, sink and hairdryer,
walk-in closet, extra-length double beds, air-conditioning, radio, alarm clock,
safe, television with satellite programming, fire detection sprinkling system
and direct dial telephones with voicemail.
Restaurants
The resort offers a wide variety of
restaurants (up to seven in-season and three off-season), each serving a
distinctive cuisine. There is every thing from award-winning French fare in the
elegant Le Gourmet to classic Mexican specialities and steaks in the enchanting
La
Hacienda to dining al fresco in
Chula Vista or Posadita. Delicious speciality coffees, pastries and light snacks are
served in Café Los Angeles. Light lunches and snacks just steps from the pools at the
Atlantes Café. Room service is available from 6AM to midnight
and there is a 24-hour Coffee Shop.
The popular Lobby Bar at the hotel is a social gathering spot where cocktails and
other tropical drinks are served, often with accompanying entertainment from
strolling Mariachis. There are also refreshing
Pool Bars where
Pińa Coladas and other libations are served to guests without their having to
first dry off. Club Pyramid, a dazzling night-club with a pre-Columbian decor,
offers the latest in high tech special effects for disco dancing. Early evening,
the club provides a quieter venue for refreshments and cable television is shown
on giant video screens.

par 72 championship golf course designed by Ted Robinson. At the Pierre Marques:
an 18 hole, 6,855 yard, par 72 championship course redesigned in 1982 by Robert
Trent Jones. Acapulco's most challenging course. Open November - February only.
Tennis Eleven tennis courts: three Laykold and six artificial grass
outdoor courts, two sportface air-conditioned indoor courts. All courts
can be floodlit for night play.
