The Villa Bougainvillea, St. John
Located a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants of Cruz Bay, the Villa is equally convenient to the excellent snorkeling beach at Frank Bay. The world famous North Shore beaches are five minutes away and can be reached by safari bus, or a jeep rental can be arranged.
The Villa has two levels with separate suites on each level. Each suite has two optionally air conditioned bedrooms and a completely equipped modern kitchen. There are two beautifully tiled baths in the Loft Suite and one in the Garden Suite. Gas barbecues for outdoor meal preparation are on the patio or the deck.
The Garden Suite on the first level feature a Great Room with fieldstone walls that recall the original Danish plantation houses. The stone walls of the outdoor patio with its covered latticework trellis continue the special island feeling. Modern sculpture combined with colorful paintings speak of the attention to detail which has been lavished on this house.
There is a tree-house feeling in the Loft Suite on the upper level. The Great Room is open to the trade winds and the sounds of the sea. The art work competes with the spectacular view of Pillsbury Sound and the islands in the distance. The Loft Suite is particularly well suited to rental by two couples.
The charm of the West Indian ambiance in each suite is combined with the modern conveniences that make this vacation home perfect for a relaxed stay in the islands. You may not find time for the cable television, the VCR or the sound system with CD player, but they are there if desired.
