For the Thailand Unseen, we have fixed departure date on 31 March 05, 25 April 05, 30 April 05, etc. (according to the lunar calendar) to go to the Tha Ka market in the right time, otherwise, we have to go to the normal Damnern Saduak Floating Market.

Early morning drive to Tha Ka, a real floating market that still existing (only 4 times a month depending to the lunar calendar). Continue to Kanchanaburi to board the original “Death Railway”, built by prisoners of war during World War II. The train passes over wooden viaducts built along the mountainside. Return to Kanchanaburi to visit the “Bridge over the River Kwai” and the “Thailand-Burma Railway Museum”. (L)

Day 2: River Kwai – Uthai Thani

Drive by bus to Supanburi to visit the Buffalo Village. Continue to Uthai Thani for a leisure cruise in Sakaekrang River. Overnight in Uthai Thani. (B/L)

Day 3: Uthai - Phitsanuloke

This morning, drive to the Thailand’s Jurassic Park, called Hub Patard. Then continue via Nakorn Sawan to Phitsanuloke. (B/L)

Continue to Sukhothai, birthplace of the Thai nation and established in the 13^th century as the first capital of Siam. Visit the principal monuments and ruins of Sukhothai, declared Unesco World Heritage Site. Continue to Lampang for a tour of the historic town by horse-drawn carriages. (B/L)

Visit Elephant Conservation Centre, before continuing to Chiang Mai. Stop at the handicrafts villages to see Thai silk and cotton weaving, umbrella painting and the making of jewellery, lacquer and silver ware. In the afternoon, drive upto Wat Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most revered mountain temple. Kantoke dinner and cultural performances. (B/D)

Day 6: Chiang Mai, Rose of the North

Drive through the own town, passing Chang Puak Gate and Tha Pae Gate. Visit to Wat Prasingh, which houses the Phra Singh image, was built between 1385 and 1400 in the classic northern-Thai Style, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Umong with the strange ubosot, and Waroros Market, a very popular market among local people. Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport. (B)
